how do i solve this problem at school (bully issue)?
♡ HP fan ♡ asked:
high school stuff. it’s pretty funny calling this a bully issue. anyway, i’m being harrassed by some girl, everyday. and in science class, i sit near her and i sit next to some pervert i’m not comfortable around with. science class is a pain. all i do is ignore her. i can’t b-tch at her because i’m waiting for the right time to report her. she’s already gone past the limit, as in, she already pushed the buttons. i don’t speak to her, at all. but she continues to bother me. i already asked my science teacher if i can get my seat changed, and he just said that i have to deal with people. i told the counselor, and she told me to write a note to him. but i already asked him, and i don’t have the time. what should i do? and please, not the principle.

Since no one at the school is going to help you, you have to help yourself by confront her next time she harasses you by talking to her in a quiet low tone of voice and telling her you are keeping track of all her abuse and harassment and intend to take it as far as she makes it necessary for you to take it it is bullying and harassment and you can sue her the school and the school board since no one is taking any responsibility to stop her. YOU have to do it and let her know you are writing everything down and intend to follow up and stop her and she can choose to stop now or meet you in court with your parents and your attorney. her choice. And do keep track, dates times what is said, etc.

I would ignore it, if she crosses the line and makes it physically – report it to the office.

Bullies are nothing but completely insecure people who feel it’s okay to make other people feel like sh*t so they can feel better. The best way to combat them is to NOT be self-conscious or insecure yourself. Confidence is the key! Look her square in the eye, keep your voice calm and assured, and ask her why she’s being so rude to you. I find that putting an icy, cool and collected, but even look in my eyes makes people take a step back. If she sees you’re not afraid of her, maybe she’ll back off. Good luck!
